My goal is to capture the passion behind your event.
Energy, excitement, and emotion are key in what I capture. Whilst I love to fill the frame with these instantaneous moments, I’m also not afraid to back up and create carefully framed wide shots that show the grandeur of your event.
I like to work unobtrusively in the background, allowing for natural moments to play out and for people to feel at ease. Through my experience in fine art photography, I skilfully and quickly compose candid moments as they unfold, preserving what would otherwise go unseen – and when the gallery arrives, these photos truly stand out.
Whilst I work in the background, I'll step in when the time is right to capture group or individual photos.
I care about using my photographic skills to uplift what others care about. Whether you are hosting an arts and cultural event, a festival, fair, or fete, an exhibition, a charity event, or something else, I want to help show what’s special about it.

Working in the background is what I find to work best. Performers and attendees can be at ease, and I can focus on achieving the greatest possible photos. Candid photos help to portray events authentically and show those genuine movements. I also love to capture wider photos that showcase the atmosphere, and whilst I do work in the background, I'll step in and direct when needed, and capture individual and group shots as well.

I come from a background in fine arts photography, so I have a strong intuition as to what makes an aesthetically pleasing photo. When presented with candid moments, I can apply this to quickly capture these moments pleasingly before they’re gone.

I am also an experienced drummer, enabling me to follow the beat or spot patterns in performances, and allowing me to predict what might be coming next, and capture it at just the right moment.

With my background being in the arts, I have created and brought to fruition many of my own creative projects, so now I love to use my skills to bring to life other people’s projects and events. I thrive on being able to bring out the energy, excitement, and emotions through my photographs.

I use a secure online gallery platform that allows you to easily view and download your photographs on your computer or phone. Depending on your requirements, this can either remain private and just accessible by you, or be shared with a team, or even with larger groups.
For events with contestants or large numbers of performers, galleries with facial recognition can be offered, enabling gallery viewers to upload a selfie and find themselves within individual and group shots.
